Bugs at the Zoo!!

Took mother and my friend Bonnie to the Zoo today and got some sweet butterfly and wasp photos.

This is just plain fun with photoshop, the shot itself was ok, but I thought I would spice it up just a bit and play with some of my filters LOL.

Had some storm damage at the lake....

Someone dumped this poor dog at the lake. He looked like he was about a year old, and half starved. Sometimes I would like to shoot people!




About two weeks ago we had tornado's in the area, these are just a couple of photos of some of the damage. I couldn't even get into the area where we usually feed the squirrels, that part of the park was completely distroyed. Good thing I got photos of those little lake cabins last month, cause they are gone.

This is red cement, what they say is soil around here. Don't try to dig in it unless you have a pick axe and dynamite LOL

No green to be found here!

Well in response to Gaidion's posts with all that nice pretty green...this is all we have here! Nothing too pretty, but good examples of what we've got going on in Manitoba, Canada.
